มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ หารือในการสานต่อกิจกรรมตามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ และติดตามประเมินผลโครงการฝึกอบรมระยะสั้นให้กับข้าราชการของกระทรวงเกษตรและปศุสัตว์
วันที่ 17 มิถุนายน 2567 (ช่วงบ่าย) รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพล ทองมา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ พร้อมด้วยกรรมการสภามหาวิทยาลัยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ กรรมการส่งเสริมกิจการมหาวิทยาลัย และคณบดีวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ได้ไปเยือนกระทรวงเกษตรและปศุสัตว์ ราชอาณาจักรภูฏาน เพื่อหารือในการสานต่อกิจกรรมตามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ และติดตามประเมินผลโครงการฝึกอบรมระยะสั้นให้กับข้าราชการของกระทรวงเกษตรและปศุสัตว์ ทั้งนี้ ได้เยี่ยมชมฟาร์มเกษตรและปศุสัตว์ของกระทรวงด้วยมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ และ กระทรวงเกษตรและปศุสัตว์ ราชอาณาจักรภูฏาน ได้มีการลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจทางวิชาการ (MOU) และสานต่อกิจกรรมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ ด้านทุนการศึกษา โครงการจัดฝึกอบรมพัฒนาวิชาชีพระยะสั้น รวมทั้งการพัฒนาความร่วมมือในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ทั้งทรัพยากรบุคคลและองค์ความรู้เพื่อประโยชน์ของทั้งสองหน่วยงานมาอย่างยาวนาน โดยเริ่มต้นด้วยการได้รับทุนสนับสนุนจากสหภาพยุโรปเพื่อสนับสนุนภาค RNR (EUTCP) ระหว่างปี 2559 ถึง ปี 2563 โดยมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้จัดการฝึกอบรมพัฒนาวิชาชีพระยะสั้น 117 โครงการ ให้แก่บุคลากรของกระทรวงเกษตรและปศุสัตว์ จำนวน 624 ราย และทุนการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท ในหลักสูตรต่าง ๆ ของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ จำนวน 7 รายOn the afternoon of June 17, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, along with distinguished members of the University Council, the University Affairs Board, and the Dean of the International College, visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in the Kingdom of Bhutan. The visit aimed to discuss the continuation of activities under academic collaboration and to follow up and evaluate the short-term training programs for officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. Additionally, they visited the ministry's agricultural and livestock farms.Maejo University and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Kingdom of Bhutan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration. This partnership includes scholarship programs, short-term professional development training projects for Bhutanese personnel, and the development of cooperation in exchanging knowledge and human resources for the benefit of both entities. This collaboration began with funding support from the European Union to support the RNR sector (EUTCP) from 2016 to 2020, providing short-term training for 624 officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Bhutan and seven master's degree scholarships in various programs at Maejo University.

วันที่ 17 มิถุนายน 2567 (ช่วงเช้า) รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพล ทองมา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ พร้อมด้วยกรรมการสภามหาวิทยาลัยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ กรรมการส่งเสริมกิจการมหาวิทยาลัย และคณบดีวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ได้ไปเยือน Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) ราชอาณาจักรภูฏาน เป็นการหารือความร่วมมือกับคณะกรรมการของ BOC ในประเด็นที่มีความสนใจร่วมกันในด้านกีฬาระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยและ BoC รวมทั้งการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาทักษะด้านกีฬาให้กับนักเรียนและนักศึกษาในราชอาณาจักรภูฏานจากมหาวิทยาลัยในประเทศไทยผ่านทาง BOCOn the morning of June 17, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, along with distinguished members of the University Council, the University Affairs Board, and the Dean of the International College, visited the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) in the Kingdom of Bhutan. The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential collaborations with the BOC committee on mutual interests in sports between the university and the BOC. This includes supporting the development of sports skills for students in the Kingdom of Bhutan through Thai universities in collaboration with the BOC.

วันพุธที่ 19 มิถุนายน 2567 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพล ทองมา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ พร้อมด้วยกรรมการสภามหาวิทยาลัยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ กรรมการส่งเสริมกิจการมหาวิทยาลัย และคณบดีวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ร่วมพิธีทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายปริญญากิตติมศักดิ์แด่สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดี จิกมี เคเซอร์ นัมเกล วังชุก พระมหากษัตริย์แห่งราชอาณาจักรภูฏาน ในชั้นปริญญา “ปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ สาขาวิชาการจัดการเกษตรอินทรีย์” ณ พระบรมมหาราชวัง Dungkar Dzong เมืองพาโร ราชอาณาจักรภูฏานมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้และราชอาณาจักรภูฏานมีความสัมพันธ์ทางด้านวิชาการที่แน่นแฟ้นมายาวนาน โดยมีการลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจทางวิชาการ (MOU) ร่วมกับ The Royal University of Bhutan และ Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock ที่เน้นกิจกรรมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในหลายมิติ อาทิ ด้านทุนการศึกษา โครงการจัดฝึกอบรมพัฒนาวิชาชีพระยะสั้น ให้แก่บุคลากรของราชอาณาจักรภูฏาน รวมทั้งการพัฒนาความร่วมมือในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ทั้งทรัพยากรบุคคลและองค์ความรู้ทั้งนี้ ตั้งแต่ปีการศึกษา 2551 - 2565 ได้มีนักศึกษาต่างชาติชาวภูฏานที่ได้รับทุนการศึกษาจากรัฐบาลไทย สหภาพยุโรป และทุนส่วนตัว มาศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีและระดับปริญญาโท ที่คณะผลิตกรรมการเกษตร คณะสัตวศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี คณะบริหารธุรกิจ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ วิทยาลัยบริหารศาสตร์ คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์และการออกแบบสิ่งแวดล้อม จำนวน 18 รายMaejo University is honored to confer upon His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of the Kingdom of Bhutan the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Organic Agriculture Management.On June 19, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, along with distinguished members of the University Council, the University Affairs Board, and the Dean of the International College, attended a ceremony to present an honorary degree to His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of the Kingdom of Bhutan. The honorary degree, "Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Agriculture Management," was presented at the Dungkar Dzong Royal Palace in Paro, Bhutan.Maejo University and the Kingdom of Bhutan have maintained a strong academic relationship for a long time. They have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Royal University of Bhutan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, focusing on various dimensions of academic cooperation. This includes scholarship programs, short-term professional development training projects for Bhutanese personnel, and the development of collaboration in the exchange of knowledge and human resources.From the academic year 2008 to 2022, 18 Bhutanese international students, funded by the Thai government, the European Union, and personal funds, have studied undergraduate and graduate programs at Maejo University. These programs span the Faculty of Agricultural Production, the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Technology, the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Science, the School of Administrative Studies, and the Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design.
